I would like to share a couple of women’s stories from the OT. This will be sgort and you need to discern what I am saying. Following each quote for each woman, I am offering an explanation. I hope you read the entire narrative.

1st – Esther. Esther 4: 13-14

Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king’s house, more than all the Jews.

For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: AND WHO KNOWETH WHETHER THOU ART COME TO THE KINGDOM FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS?

Narrative – We are right here, right now, during this pandemic, real or not! Ask God what He would have you to do and what your purpose is for being on earth at this time. Esther’s role was short yet significant. She had been raised up in Royalty to serve a purpose. If you are a child of God, you are in a Royal position. What is your purpose?

2nd – Ruth Ruth 1:1-5; Ruth 4:9-10

Ruth 1:1-5

Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Beth-lehem-judah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.

And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Beth-lehem-judah. And they came into the country of Moab, and continued there.

And Elimelech Naomi’s husband died; and she was left, and her two sons. 4 And they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years.

And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband.

Ruth 4: 9-10

And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech’s, and all that was Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, of the hand of Naomi.

Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day.

NARRATIVE: Ruth stayed with her mother-in-law to be with her kinfolk. They returned to Bethlehem and met Boaz a relative. Boaz redeemed the property and took Ruth as his wife.

EVERYTONE NEEDS A BOAZ. How do you know that during this time, when you are placed here, that you will not meet that one person who becomes a Boaz to you. But to meet anyone, we have to be able to get out and meet people. DO WHAT YOU CAN! I have to walk for rehab from heart surgery. I walk 2-3 miles per day. On my walks I often meet people. Even keeping social distancing, I have had the opportunity to minister to several people, and have led at least 1 to the Lord

The Name

THE NAME IS 53:1-5 Who has believed [confidently trusted in, relied on, and adhered to] our message [of salvation]? And to whom [if not us] has the arm and infinite power of the Lord been revealed?
